We are currently expanding the non-stop support team in Prague and Brno. If you have always been attracted to work with both technology and people, this position is quite possibly for you. Get in touch with us What specifically did you enjoy most about the support job? I enjoyed interacting with customers and always felt good when I helped them solve a problem. However, I was most interested in the technical part of the work, when my supervisor explained to me what technologies we were introducing, how they worked, and I was able to see under the hood of the data center infrastructure.
Another bonus was that I mainly covered the evening USA Phone Number List and night shifts, when traffic is quieter and I could devote my free time to school and study. How difficult was it for you to combine work and study at university? The advantage of this job is that you can plan all your shifts so that they fit into your schedule, or you can swap them with your colleagues. So it was not a problem in terms of time requirement. However, sometimes I had to go straight to a lecture or practice after the night shift, so I used to be very tired.
If a person is studying at a demanding school, he should definitely he is able to handle work and studies at the same time. I definitely wouldn't want to tell new supporters that if I could do it, they have to too. This is something everyone has to think about and try for themselves. Do you have any interesting memories of working at MasterDC? When I started at Master, it was a small company with a few employees, which grew tremendously in a short period of time. We didn't even have our own data center in Prague yet, and the premises were only rented out. The move to the new Prague data center stuck in my memory the most, when I helped move servers and also participated in setting up IT support there.
